Timothy F. Bryson

Educator | Ph.D. Student | Entrepreneur

Tim Bryson (he/him) is the Founder and CEO of Walk With TFB, LLC. A Black owned consulting firm, Walk With TFB assists athletes, institutions, and brands with international athlete development, internationalization strategy, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) education. His work has been endorsed by the Biden-Harris Administration as he was 1 of 25 Black American entrepreneurs to be selected to participate in the inaugural African Descendant Social Entrepreneurship Workshop in March 2023.

 

He is also a Ph.D. student in the Student Affairs program at UMD, College Park. Tim's research focuses on the relationship between internationalization and college athletics. He participated in the NCAA's inaugural International Student-Athlete Think Tank, been featured in D1 Ticker, and is the leading voice in public scholarship regarding sport globalization and its impact on international higher education.

 

Tim is a former Division I NCAA athlete, former NCAA postgraduate intern, and certified athletic trainer. Tim has served as a Sport Diplomat with the U.S. Department of State and was also selected as a NAFSA: Association of International Educators RISE Fellow.

Tim is an alumnus of The Ohio State University and the University of South Carolina, Columbia. He is the host of the “Walk With TFB” podcast, enjoys visiting craft breweries, and is always listening to Drake.
