Tim Bryson (he/him/él) is the Founder and CEO of Walk With TFB.
Walk With TFB is a Black owned consulting firm that assists athletes, colleges/universities and brands with international athlete development, internationalization strategy, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) education. His work was endorsed by the Biden-Harris Administration as he was 1 of 25 Black American entrepreneurs to be selected to participate in the inaugural African Descendant Social Entrepreneurship Workshop in March 2023.
He is also the Co-Founder of the Global Sport and Education Summit (GSES), an international gathering that connects sport and education leaders across borders and generations. Building on the legacy of the Internationalization & Athletics Summit, GSES is the only convening in the world deliberately designed to bridge global sport and international education ecosystems.
TFB is a Ph.D. candidate in the Student Affairs program at UMD, College Park. His research focuses on the relationship between internationalization and college athletics. He was selected to participate in the NCAA's inaugural International Student-Athlete Think Tank, been featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education, and continues to be a leading voice in public scholarship regarding sport globalization and its impact on international higher education.
Tim is a former Division I NCAA athlete, former NCAA postgraduate intern, and certified athletic trainer. Tim has served as a Sport Diplomat with the U.S. Department of State, was selected as a NAFSA: Association of International Educators RISE Fellow, and consulted with the Institute of International Education to introduce and expand access to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for college athletes.
